This, 2-day workshop offers a hands-on approach into the principles and practices of Palpation & Diagnosis, as used in the Japanese style of acupuncture. It will be of benefit to those already practicing this system, and for pratitioners from other backgrounds such as; TCM, Five Elements, Worsley, Korean etc. It will be of particular benefit to practitioners looking to develop their skills, and technique approaches, around
Day 1
– Japanese pulse diagnosis: TCM Zang Fu pulse taking vs three levels.
– Japanese Meridian Therapy, and Iyashi No Michi style of acupuncture.
– Palpation skills and assessments: basics on skill palpation, what to look for, indications, and common patterns.
– Introduction to Japanese neele technique, sashide/oshide, nenshin.
Day 2
– Hara diagnosis: placement, assessment, unsterstanding different patterns, and what they mean.
– Introduction to the concept of live points, how to locate and utilise them in treatment.
– Understanding Hara/pulse diagnosis, and how to incorporate into practice.
